Convenient Location and Friendly Service

convenient location friendly staff
The hotel is clean and the location is convenient. I found that the staff were friendly, and I got access to my room earlier than expected. The location near the gardens and main shopping area was a plus. Our double room provided a view of the gardens and the sea.
The bedroom window was open, and the room smelled strongly of mold. This impacted my breathing, so I almost had an asthma attack. I spent more money elsewhere next time.
Service
9/10
The hotel staff were flexible. I could book my dinner when needed at reception. I liked that they were friendly and supported my dietary preferences when I asked for nondairy milk. The chef was especially helpful.
Dining
8/10
I booked bed and breakfast and had dinner twice. There were printed menus for breakfast and dinner. I suggest the dinner food is labeled, so guests know if it is vegetarian, vegan, or meat.

Acceptable Stay, Some Issues

broken window closed bar
The weather was terrible, I get it, but rain came through the closed window. Seriously?!? I had to use towels to mop it up and reduce the noise, which wasn't the relaxing evening I hoped for. the bar was closed during the day. This hotel just doesn't want me to relax.

Fantastic stay with great service

refurbished room public area helpful staff central location
I've visited before, and this time it was even better. Newly refurbished rooms and lovely public areas made everything excellent. The price was especially good. The staff were helpful, and I would definitely come back again! I appreciated the central location and the gorgeous building. The refurbishment looks amazing.
The hotel allows dogs. Some urinated all over the front, so be careful where you are walking.
Dining

I had dinner twice. The hotel staff were very flexible. I also liked that they were very friendly. They supported my dietary preferences when I asked for non dairy milk. Breakfast had printed menus.
Facilities

The hotel has a central location! Car parking was good, closer to the town and shops. I used the safe in the room, and it helped with our luggage.
Service

Nikita welcomed us. She was fabulous and nothing was too much trouble. The reception staff were helpful with any questions. The chef Ula went the extra mile. She recommended some places around to visit. She also offered an ice cream in the hot weather. That was a really nice gesture.
Rooms
9/10
My room overlooked the gardens! The bed and room were quite good. The room was clean and a good size for myself and the family. I was given a Double Suite with a wonderful view to the King's gardens with the lake. There were beautiful flowers. and bushes
